The journey begins with a visit to Tel Aviv, the vibrant and modern city on the Mediterranean coast. From there, the tour heads north to the ancient city of Caesarea, built by Herod and once the capital of Judea. The tour continues to Haifa and Mt. Carmel, with a panoramic view of Haifa Bay and the Botanical Gardens, and a visit to the Clandestine Immigration and Naval museum.
Next, the tour travels to Akko/Acre, known for its underground passages, old harbor and local market, and the prison where members of the Hagana and Irgun were held during Israel’s fight for independence. The tour also visits Rosh Hanikra, a stunning location at the most northern point of Israel with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and limestone grottoes.
The tour then heads to the Galilee region, where it stays overnight. The following day, the tour visits Safed (Tzfat), known as the mystical city and birth place of kabala, and goes on a Jewish Heritage Tour in the Golan Heights.
The tour then arrives in Jerusalem and spends several days exploring the city, starting with the Old City and visits to the Tomb of King David, the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall and Rabbinical Tunnels, the Davidson Center Museum, the Old City bazaar, the Tower of David museum, and more. The tour also visits the New City, with a Bar Mitzvah ceremony at the Western Wall, Mea Shearim, Mt. Hertzel, Yad Vashem, Ammunition Hill, the Knesset Menorah, and the Israel Museum.
Throughout the tour, there are opportunities to experience traditional Israeli cuisine, participate in cultural and religious rituals, and learn about the rich history and heritage of the country. The tour concludes with a stay in Jerusalem, a city with deep spiritual and historical significance.
