Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Welcome to Jerusalem

A representative greets you at Ben Gurion Airport and transfers you to your Jerusalem hotel for your first night in the Holy City.

Day 2 — The Old City of Jerusalem & Bethlehem

The Mount of Olives panorama, the Upper Room and the Tomb of King David on Mount Zion, the restored Jewish Quarter with its Roman Cardo and Herodian homes, the Western Wall, and the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity and Rachel's Tomb. Free evening.

Day 3 — Modern Jerusalem, Museums & the Night Spectacular

The Israel Museum's Shrine of the Book and Second Temple model, the Knesset, Mount Herzl, and Yad Vashem. A stroll through Mea Shearim, then dinner at an authentic restaurant followed by the Sound and Light show at the Tower of David Museum.

Day 4 — Masada & the Dead Sea

Descend to the lowest point on earth — 1,305 feet below sea level. Visit Qumran, ride the cable car up Masada, and float in the Dead Sea (weather permitting). Continue to Tel Aviv for overnight.

Day 5 — Shabbat at Leisure in Tel Aviv

A full Shabbat day at leisure in Tel Aviv — beach promenade, exploring, or rest. Evening at leisure.

Day 6 — Caesarea, Megiddo, a Druze Village & Haifa

Caesarea's Roman theater, fortress, and aqueduct; Megiddo overlooking the plains of Armageddon. A late lunch in the Druze village of Daliat-el-Carmel on Mount Carmel, then panoramic views of Haifa Bay. Continue to your kibbutz guesthouse in the Upper Galilee; dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 — Safed, the Golan Heights & a Winery

Safed's Joseph Caro and Ari synagogues and artists' quarter. The Golan Heights — former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra, Katzrin — then a winery tour and tasting plus the Golan Magic multimedia presentation. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.

Day 8 — The Sea of Galilee & Nazareth

Nazareth — the Grotto of the Annunciation, the Church of St. Joseph, the ancient city well — then Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, the Roman ruins of Beit Shean, the zodiac mosaic synagogue at Beit Alpha, and the Jordan Valley before driving to Tel Aviv.

Day 9 — Departure from Tel Aviv

After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight home.
